Farmington Hills Golf course, previously named San Marino Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Farmington Hills, Michigan
The Golf Course first opened for play in 1963 as a 9-hole course named San Marino Golf Course. The course was purchased by the City in 1978. In 1990 and again in 1996, the residents identified expanding San Marino to 18 holes as a high priority in a community survey of recreational needs. In June of 1998 the City acquired the Eleven Pines property following an extensive environmental review. In 1999 the City also acquired twenty acres of school property adjacent to San Marino. This purchase made it possible to include a driving range to the new development.
These events laid the ground work to build a new nine holes, a new clubhouse and totally rebuild a redesigned nine holes on the San Marino property. A tunnel was built under Halsted Road to link both nines and a new golf and parks maintenance campus with buildings was built on the southwest corner of the golf course.

The course is well maintained and the staff are efficient and courteous. The course is challenging and becomes as difficult as necessary with the multiple tee placements.
